The papers of Geoffrey Furness, Ph.D., Professor of Microbiology at the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, span the years 1952-1985. The collection is strong in the area of publications, containing reprints of almost all of his works. Dr. Furness' records dealing with the AAUP and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences were placed in separate record groups (RG/Q & RG/F). His oral history interview, conducted in June 1987, recounts his observations on his nineteen years with the Medical School (Oral History accession number OH-85-01).
